Nazi "socialism" was business associations running the economy exclusively, with unions banned outright. That would be pretty much the complete logical opposite of how leftists define socialism, which would be an economy run from the bottom up, not from the top down. The collectivism of business capitalists isn't the same thing as the collectivism driven by working class people.

But more to the point, few people principally define the Nazis by their economic views. Hitler's regime is known best for starting World War II and for the Holocaust. The historical regime is best known for its racism and other social views. The same goes for how modern Nazis define themselves: principally by their white supremacist worldview. That's the most important thing to them, which is what makes it possible for these "socialists" to happily endorse a billionaire real estate mogul who aspires to cut down on corporate taxation and business regulations for president despite their theoretical differences in the area of economic policy.

Oh yeah, they also rounded up and shipped off all the real socialists in the country (and in a lot of other countries too) to slave labor camps. That as well.

I have never said the people who fought for Hitler wasn't right wing. I have never said the ones they rounded up and put in concentration camps were not communist and people who were and promoted homosexual and other things against what they believed.
