I'm not sure why Earl Thomas is giving his sideline the finger after sustaining a season ending injury. The Seahawks made him wealthier than he ever could have dreamed. He got his big contract and he would have been in position to receive another big contract either from Seattle or somewhere else.
Now, he's an aging safety coming off his second broken leg in three years. Plus he's going out being an ass and that might have an impact on his chances of inking another big contract in the future. He appears to be blaming his team management for something that is very likely to happen to any football player. A lot of teams may be leery to have that kind of attitude in their locker room.
It's almost like Thomas inadvertently willed this to happen.
That's not a classy way to go out.
