    Earl Thomas

I'm not sure why Earl Thomas is giving his sideline the finger after sustaining a season ending injury. The Seahawks made him wealthier than he ever could have dreamed. He got his big contract and he would have been in position to receive another big contract either from Seattle or somewhere else.

Now, he's an aging safety coming off his second broken leg in three years. Plus he's going out being an ass and that might have an impact on his chances of inking another big contract in the future. He appears to be blaming his team management for something that is very likely to happen to any football player. A lot of teams may be leery to have that kind of attitude in their locker room.

It's almost like Thomas inadvertently willed this to happen.

That's not a classy way to go out.

    That was bizarre.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

The injury was odd too. I couldn't tell why that happened.

It was the same leg he broke two seasons ago. That leg also has a rod in it from the previous injury. When you break your leg in that manner it is a sign of a bone density issue.

Still I can't figure out why Earl Thomas is burning the bridge to the team which made him a very wealthy man. Plus this might have cost him millions in the future by making other teams leery to bring his attitude into their locker room.

I think he will regret doing that.

I was thinking something along those lines. I was like this guy's bones must be weak.

I don't understand the middle finger thing but whatever.

He was upset that the Seahawks did not extend his contract and double his salary.

Poor thing. Looks like they made a wise choice.

I suspect that the Seahwks had a valid reason to believe that he had more than the normal risk of sustaining a season ending injury and extending his contract, especially at a much higher salary was not a wise business decision.

He did earn more than fifty million dollars playing for the Seahawks, so......
