I knew the leftist and non Americans would find nothing wrong with a group of people who's avowed aim was the destruction of Israel acting in this matter.

I actually don't care if they hold meetings amongst themselves. But there is a difference between a hate group and a religious group. Or, a racial group versus a religious group. Little details.

While I agree in this case they said it was open to the public, and that it was free. Since it was advertised to the public that way, they really should be held to that. I will say my position is based on US laws, I do not know about Canada.

Probably not constitutional, but it would be a fight between different aspects of the Charter. Discrimination versus freedom of religion, I think.

I... do not mind religious groups meeting and making it strictly for that demographic. Traditionally, the Islamic groups (organized) in Canada have been respectable, as have the leaders of those organized groups. If I went to a Jewish meeting of some kind, I would not exclude anyone but I would find it odd if someone with entirely different beliefs decided to turn up - I would question if it were in good faith. In this case, the one in the OP, it does not seem like it was in good faith.

If one wants to attend an event which was advertised to be open to the public and they weren’t disrupting the event, how would you determine that they didn’t attended in good faith?
