Today's Rant: Wanna be Weather Men

I'm sitting in my hotel room flipping through the channels (and schooling Dave in lawyerly stuff - hehehehehe) when it struck me funny the pure ridiculousness of the many Wanna Be Weather Men on tv today.

The news channels have decided that today's reality show will be themed "Hurricane Michael". They have sent several of their main msm hosts to provide onsite coverage of the storm. The hosts are standing in the hurricane forces with their flimsy rain gear and their microphones as they are pelted by rain.

We have "real" weather men that can give us updates on the weather. But most of them if not all of them are not actually onsite. Why.....because their smart enough to understand the weather they study.

We have technology that can provide far better information to us then watching John Berman in a drenched CNN jacket trying to explain what we can barely comprehend BECAUSE of the weather!

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

There's a perfect set-up line, but I'm not going to exploit it. After all, it's your rant.

Yes, I appreciate that you let that slide. You can't apply my statement outside of this rant.

The tornado chasers will be the only ones really outside. Most weather men if you see them are only 5 feet from safety, they just step out for the shot.

@Trish, I do find them hellza entertaining though but really maybe it is becasue they are so dumb that it is funny. Now you know why the weather channel got the emmy. Your rant is so right on, ha ha ha.....Is it wrong to use the word dumb, seems wrong but what else can you call it? I guess you could say they are freaking idiots. Ha ha ha ha. Every now and they they provide some mighty fine entertainment though.
We are all brothers and sisters in humanity. We are all made from the same dust of stars. We cannot be separated because all life is interconnected.
