    Political musings.

In politics, there remains a lack of a definition. Some say this or that, others say, well, that or this... what is politics really about?

When it comes to politics, religion or some philosophy, everyone is an expert, yes? Imagine you will hear the same thing, from various sources, which al make sense? If it makes sense, it must be right, yes? If it doesn't it could be right if expressed correctly. If it is not expressed correctly, even something that is right and obvious could be cited as wrong, yes? Makes sense to me.

So, what is politics? In our discussion now, politics could be about legal things, but I find that politics, myself, is about 'concessions and opportunities.' This is where you deny yourself something for someone else's benefit and then get an opportunity for something else you want, yes? This means if you were to barter or trade, it would be like swapping ideas, resources or rights, hey?

I think that is what politics is about.

I find that politics is about representation too. If you were to represent yourself, there is very little to work with, then it is just business. It is in representing the numbers that voice you to represent them that true power lies, and, great responsibility too. If you were to speak for a lot of people, you would need to have their demands with you, and hear the demands of the other side.

Of the things that you would typically debate over, resources and rights are the top things. If you represent a demographic that says that the Muslim women's head garb is unsightly, and the other side being Muslim was to say 'it is holy,' then there would be a show of force immediately. If it was a population split equally, it would be impossible to remove the garb from their rights without using force or power to back you up. On the other hand, if the majority was non Muslim, and, cited it as 'bad,' it would be hard to keep it for the other side. This is where politics steps in and protects the garb. If there are many backers, then protection is very easy, if there are hardly any users, then protection is difficult, yes?

~ This could go on forever unless we identify key factors, I think you will agree? Key factors here would be 'support,' 'reason' and 'harm.' This would have to do with "rights," of course.

Is there support for it? If there is, then it is supported by the people, who the state needs to support for more votes, and, protect under typical humanitarian laws. This would be where they need to find out who would vote this way or that, if you will, and, like they claimed power through a vote, admit this to a vote, yes?

Logic and reason states that while living in these garbs is not a problem, working in them is. They will get in the way of computers and faxes and so forth. This means they will be a hassle. On the other hand, they will protect the hair and head against the wind and sun, making sure that the women will not have their hair blow around to, for example, cause an accident.

Harm would see 'if it is a sin.' Harming anyone, even the wearer would make it 'immoral,' and, that would be like sin, yes? As it is holy, does it make the life worse for anyone, does it remove rights from anyone by wearing it? This would be where the headdress would "be bad," yes?

In politics, we can also argue for the need for representing resources. This is where we will make an argument for ourselves, and, others, under a 'banner or group.' This could also be called a demographic, where we all share some sort of identity, and, that could be our ethnicity or residential area, of course. I think it is safe to say that we will all share something in common with someone else, and, that we can call this a group, banner or demographic, professionally speaking. If the demographic is made up of various other demographics, they may form splinters and represent themselves, or vote under the group or social demographic for their part of the movement. This would be like the seven main branches of the Christian Church, where there are Catholics, Protestants, and, so forth.

If the demographic is in need of something, then they need to let people know. If they are gifted something, they usually will need it in the eyes of the politicians and cannot defer it to something else. This would be where they might be able to exchange the bread allowance coupons for soup, or, something else that makes sense, but exchanging it for shares in a programming company would not sit well with those in power, would it? This goes to show that sometimes no voice, no action, will replace common sense. Those in power are there through hardship and hard work, they will not fail the common people for no reason, as, then they would look bad and nobody would vote for them - with that in mind you can use that against them in the media to get your way, of course.

~ Remember, nobody in politics wants to look bad or incompetent. This is evident in the language used and demeanour of those as they speak at political rallies, and, hold themselves in the media with the camera people. Another thing to remember is that they cannot be seen to not listen to anybody, as even a 'stage diver' or 'photo bomber' will be granted time with them, often.

So, numbers hold a special place in the hearts of all leaders. If you can bring the full sum of your demographic group to the fore, then you can voice as one, and, if you were to run surveys, where the whole group is represented and accounted for, then the group will be together and there will be no denying the desires of the demographic. This means that if you get together, then you should be heard, of course.

Keys of arguing for resources are, 'support,' 'evidence' and 'offerings.'

If you are to show that there is a 'need' for the resources, then there will be no denying them to you, unless the coffers are empty, will there? They need your support like you need theirs, so, as one hand washes the other, and, there is a need for votes, with the ballots marked by who feeds them, there is no denying that the support of the party lies with "results," yes?

Evidence of needs not met is a bad token on any international visit, and, with other demographics. They will often put themselves in your shoes, and, wonder if that would happen to them? Evidence of being ill treated would upset the purist employees of the state, and, there would be internal dispute and actions, where the leaders would feel their own arms and legs ebbing away. Show evidence of 'crime' or hardship, and, you will have evidence which cannot be denied.

When you have something to offer the state, then things get much better. So what if you can mark the ballot, any demographic can. This means that if you were to say have a shovel, and needed manure to shovel, and, the state had manure, but no workers, then you become "human capital," yes? You want their resources, they need... this or that, and, together you can strike a plan, yes? There is no help so good as the help you barter to fill yourself into in exchange for something.

In politics, on the side of the leaders, they need to present the people they serve too, just like typical people. This means they need to adjust their ways of doing things due to the things they say - how can they say they are going to do something and not follow up by doing it? How can they not make changes to do these things? How can these things get done without beginning? Whenever the party says it will do something, check to see if things are moving, or, defy them, each other, or, check to see why your orders are not being carried out, yes? If they are not being carried out, ask why, and, if no answers come to you, take action. Discipline and expulsion are bad ways of doing things, as, they make people distant to each other, and, people will cover themselves with paranoia and defer others away from their affairs. The cabinets are put together to compliment each other with first choice personnel, not to be dismissed and changed in times of shortcomings. If your child falls, you do not simply send them to a hostel, you help them up and see that during the fall they learned not to try to walk that way, yes? It all comes down to attitude - is the child trying, and, is the child trying correctly? If it is positive, what more could you ask for?

So, in the cabinet, there are many that exemplify your agenda. They were part of the movement during the election campaign, and, continue to pledge loyalty to you. To find out if they are truly endeared to you r cause, you could ask them to do a little extra for the party, a bit of overtime, yes? This would see them putting more in and getting less out, putting the company or party first, and, this would show their commitment to the party, of course. If they are not committed, there should be a replacement by those that are zealous, and, will put extra in for 'emotionally satisfying gains.' That follows, that they would be made high on a place in society, where they would be paid dividends in excess of money, in seeing their hard work pay off, of course.

~ I don't know if you call this "professionalism," let's call it "patriotism?" Professionalism always infers some sort of skill set and etiquette, while the latter shows commitment of another kind, yes?

Now, if the personnel wants to help, let them. Team work is crucial and, they will all come together for the party, yes? What could be better than seeing someone cover their own department by going into the office of someone else to get things done quickly and efficiently? What is the point of sending a email or order at nine in the morning only to see it read at four, and, left until the next day for completion? This would be a case of going in there at nine fifteen and getting the files and information to clear the bottlenecks and then proceed without having someone come down on you for not performance, a situation what is rife in the world of politics. Personally, an invasion of privacy is preferred to a lack of performance, i would say...

Sometimes the whole onus in politics is in 'public debate.' As image is so important to al leaders, and doing deals in private will lead to a lack of exposure, with only your testimony to fall back on, and, then recalling the exact words, calling the debate into the public eye is of great use. This will let people see the real interests of the leaders and other side alike, be it between leaders or between activists, or, a mix. This is common in Twenty first century American politics, where during the campaign the issues of the sides are put forth, and, concessions are made, or, tensions rise!

Of course, if the debate descends into chaos, then there is clear evidence of stress. This could be where the leaders will find it hard to get what they want, or, activists, or, there is a lack of answers to questions, solutions to problems. This might lead to riots if not done properly, but, this seldom happens. Due to the emotional play between sides, there might be ripples to the people, so, sometimes sensitive issues need not even appear in the media. For example, if someone dies due to a crime of passion, where someone does something amoral, and, then in turn there is lots of this lack of morality, and, someone dies, then there is an outcry of a event affronting a society which, while we might not cherish, we are indeed a part of, yes?

So, dragging people out into the light runs you the risk of being exposed yourself, but, there is the immediate satisfaction of "closure." Unless the debate runs into overtime, and, it will, there will be some matters put to the fore. Solutions will spill out over social media, and, these will often reflect pure gems of logic, yes? I am sure you know what I mean - hash tags and other things often enlighten leaders, even if as a nuance, which leads to a gentle bit of lunch, then reworded, somehow, often without them knowing, the next day, into an action that would reflect the musings, but, nobody can remember! Point is, the debates in public will stir intellectual activity, and, that will lead to answers, somehow, some way...

Now, If the debate shows that one side is indeed empty in it's argument, then the media will support the winners IF they have nothing to love by doing so. You must remember, if the party feeds you, it will remain high in your opinion, and, your articles, yes? This is bias, and, there is a lot of bias in the world. How else can parties like the house of lords continue, they represent the richest people in Britain, and, they will continue to do so, even if there are no needs or wants, as, they are funded by the rich for the rich, yes? If you remember where you are coming from, where you are going, obviously you will be biased, and, naturally, I for one understand.
