Sunni extremism is a much greater threat to the west than Shia extremism. The Shia are a greater threat to Israel but outside of the Israeli issue, the Shia terror is more of a scalpel- more professional like spec ops and special action intel units.

The Shia are a greater threat to Israel but outside of the Israeli issue, the Shia terror is more of a scalpel- more professional like spec ops and special action intel units.

But we must convince both Israel and the Arab, Turk, and Persian ruled worlds that the US will not hesitate to go to war with Israel if necessary, we must be capable of so much more than special ops/scalpel engagements. We must be able to move significant forces anywhere on the earth in mere days. We must be able to protect Israel much like we protect western Europe from Eastern threats and protect South Korea against China and North Korea.

State action is not terrorism. If Iran used a nuclear weapon it would be an act of war upon the target nation.

But we must convince both Israel and the Arab, Turk, and Persian ruled worlds that the US will not hesitate to go to war with Israel if necessary, we must be capable of so much more than special ops/scalpel engagements. We must be able to move significant forces anywhere on the earth in mere days. Why? Israel is very capable.
