    Trump's interview with 60 Minutes

Here's a youtube version, kind of edited:

Note that this is on the serious side so let's see some serious discussion of political issues and views not mere attacks on Trump's persona.

I listened to only the beginning so far where Stahl played up the BS of recent hurricanes as part of climate change. His answer was correct, a review of the history of hurricanes shows they are not increasingly worse, stronger or anything. Much worst hurricanes have done much worse damage in the past. THere's no pattern leading to climate change.

Also there are a lot more people living on the coast now too. Deaths caused by hurricanes are way down. Property damage way up.

I admit that I have not had an opportunity to see the interview in it's entirety. I've seen brief clips. I learned nothing that I didn't already know about this President and his priorities.

I'm trying to decide whether I want to go into a full out depression and watch it or if I should save myself and just ignore it. (hahahahaha)

Admittedly I haven't watched it all. Couldn't get past the bit on climate change. Stahl is uninformed and political. Trump is informed but not articulate. Stahl was like "They say hurricanes are getting worse, therefore climate change. Trump was like "They say they're not getting worse." Stahl was like "Who are they?" Well, Stahl, who is your "they"?

There are conditions attached to grant money. Even for the loans.

One condition should be that they not build in the same place and not next to the sea. Ain't gonna happen. The loans and grants get forgiven.

FEMA is suppose to inform residents they can rebuild so long as they upgrade to withstand storms, or that they can relocate to a safer area. Loans don't get forgiven. Grants are given without any expectation of being paid back.
