Tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the preservation of fire. ― Gustav Mahler
When Donald Trump said to protest “peacefully”, he meant violence.
When he told protesters to “go home”, he meant stay for an insurrection.
And when he told Brad Raffensperger to implement “whatever the correct legal remedy is”, he meant fraud.
War is peace.
Freedom is slavery.
Ignorance is strength.
Trump admits there is climate change, as do most people. What he is skeptical about is the degree to which man is influencing climate change, particularly global warming. I fail to see what's wrong with that. Many scientists feel the same way as Trump does. And the so-called "consensus" on man-made global warming is wildly exaggerated. Probably the best example are the claims revolving around "97% of climate scientists" and their views on man-made global warming. That's like citing a poll that says "97% of string theorists believe string theory is true." Well, DUH. Every microscopic scientific niche thinks it's the cutting edge of science and knowledge. Oh, and of course they require more grant money and taxpayer subsidies in order to continue their very important research!
Power always thinks it has a great soul, and vast views, beyond the comprehension of the weak. And that it is doing God service when it is violating all His laws.

Leslie Stahl was correct. Hurricanes have been more powerful in recent decades as compared to the past. I am considering storms that not only strike the U.S. but also strike the Caribbean, Central
America, and parts of Asia. There have been 33 category 5 hurricanes since 1924 and 11 of those have occurred in the past 14 years. Climate scientists such as Kerry Emanuel expect an increasing
number of category 4 and 5 hurricanes in the feature as compared to the past and probably a decrease in the total number of hurricanes. The cause of this is higher atmospheric temperatures which
allow air to hold more moisture and warmer sea surface temperatures. The trajectory of hurricanes striking the U.S. is projected to shift more northward at a rate of 35 miles per decade and major
U.S. cities in the northeast are at risk in the future. When Leslie Stahl said, "It is worse than ever" regarding the hurricane situation that is true and it will likely be true in the future if we consider
the global impact of the most destructive storms (categories 4 and 5).

Donald Trump has never made an intelligent comment about climate change and apparently knows nothing about the subject. His biographer says that he doesn't read and I believe him. All of the global warming that has occurred since 1950, or nearly all of it, has been caused by humans. There are numerous studies that have concluded this. If one asserts that there is a natural explanation for the warming then one should be able to provide the details for natural causes. There are no natural causes to explain global warming since 1950. Not many scientists feel the same way as Trump and the 97% figure is correct.
