Another good thing about the ignore feature is that it deprives trolls of the attention they so desperately crave.

Nothing gets under a troll's skin more than being ignored.

The mods should quantify the number of people members have on ignore and get rid of the ones that are most ignored.

That might have some merit. It would make sense if there was a feature where one could check to see how many people have him or her on ignore.

However, no one knows who has an ignore list or who they are ignoring unless they tell everyone. The people who brag about their ignore list are usually antagonistic trolls themselves.

It's a thought, but I think if we just ignore them, the problem will work itself out. Attention is the lifeblood of a troll - they need it to survive. That's why when you start ignoring them, they get desperate. I can already tell that one of the people on my ignore list is becoming unhinged and I cannot even read their posts. It's actually pretty funny!

I'm pretty sure the mods or at least admin can see who is currently ignored.

Why not develop a feature where individual members can see how many have them on ignore?

There are some who should put themselves on ignore.

Those who have ignore lists are usually those who are most worthy to be ignored.

Isn't that funny? He admits that he doesn't know what's being posted, but he says he can tell at least one person is becoming unhinged. Hilarious.....
