    Muslim Immigration or Civil Rights

I thought there is a nice dilemma that we should consider. We recently have seen how a 100% Muslim nation deals with dissent.. Hint in Saudi Arabia they don't..

In our country (The Good Old USA) we have a decision to make.

Basis is you don't get to have a country full of Muslims and Women's and or Gay Rights.

    Time to choose.

Take our poll to see what tTPS would rather have

It is amazing that many liberals who champion women and gay rights also advocate for the mass importation of a people who are violently opposed to women and gay rights.

I agree with our Mooslim friends that women should not vote, or drive, and married women should cover up, so I choose the first option.

Divorce rates are much lower in the Middle East.

    If not here, Where?

I'm reading Dennis Prager's book on the US, Still the best hope. He argues that if any Islamic grouping is going to break out of Islamicism, it will be the Muslim community that grows up in the US & that acculturates to the US politically & economically, & feels that the US is their nation too. (As opposed to the Muslim communities in Europe, which apparently have isolated themselves & often doubled down on Islamicism [political Islam].)

IF that's true, then access to the US is possibly vital for a moderation (to normal political discourse, in terms of Western Civilization) of political Islam - somewhere in the future. Or am I misreading Prager?

It depends. Many Muslims who came to the US prior to 9-11 were in the upper classes and educated and largely non-religious. But some groups isolated themselves and kept to their traditions. There is a large Muslim community in Falls Church, VA that has done this and they have largely not assimilated. The FBI keeps a close watch on them. But the majority of Muslims in the DC area are normal Americans. The worse example of not assimilating is the Somali community in the Detroit area. Even other Muslim groups warned the US about its Somali relocation plan. They said it was a very bad move.

Neither is best choice. Both are rotten. Why do you suggest that choices are but these?

    Who are "we"?

Abolish civil rights and kick muslims out. What's the problem?

The only civil rights needed are already part of the Constitution. The rest has been nothing but political whoopy for lawmakers and misery for literally everyone else.

Why would anyone object to women's rights? That's an odd choice.

I support gay rights but I don't support militant gays forcing their lifestyles down everyone's throat like bakers. That bakers aren't forced to submit to something they don't personally believe in or object to is a huge win for this country and for rights and freedoms and that the idiot radical left lost this gives me hope for a free society but I also don't think gays should be realistically discriminated against.

I support legal, responsible immigration for those who want to be a part of the collective culture and be productive citizens. I'm not sure how many immigrants - legal or otherwise adhere to this and I'm not sure what the globes tolerance for merged cultures and culture change is at this point so this is tricky.

Outside of that I support immigration control, our society has enough problems that need dealt with, inheriting someone elses problems shouldn't be a priority right now.

You guys? I have voted 3rd party since 2006.

But no, the repubs don't have a true Taliban wing. That is silly. As far as the dems and their antifi, as bad as they are, they are not equivalent to the Taliban. The Taliban would skin those self-righteous thugs and leave them in the hot sun to die.
