AZ Democrat Slams Stay-At-Home Moms: They're Nothing But Leeches

Incredibly its a democrat denigrating women, even more incredible its a woman

Arizona is trending blue. Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) squeaked by in 2012, but he’s opting not to run for re-election due to abysmal approval numbers. It’s now Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema and Republican Congresswoman Martha McSally duking it out to replace him. The race has been tight, though the vicious battle over Brett Kavanaugh and his Supreme Court nomination seems to have generated a surge of support for McSally who is leading by a solid six-points. It could be an outlier, but the bad news hitting the Sinema campaign has been pervasive in the final weeks. She stretched the truth about her upbringing, she called Arizona the crazy state, she said it was a meth lab of Democracy; she tried to summon witches to protest the Iraq War. It’s a mess. Now, she’s going after stay-at-home moms for “leeching off their husbands.” Bre Payton at The Federalist has more:

I've several times now suggested there are basically two types of feminists, the empowering type and the tearing down type. Clearly this is an example of the latter and they are destructive to women.

I have no problem with families that choose to have one parent stay home. However, I think they should have different eligibility criteria for assistance than two earner families. Partly because they choose to forego earnings and partly because they don't bear the same cost of employment of two earner families

I guess she didn't want to win. She's too stupid to be in the Senate.

Ironically the 80s femnist movement gave stay at home moms worker status and told us how hard it is and it should be considered a profession. Lets keep in mind this is only one persons opinion and she doesnt represent all femnists.

I remember my wife who has always worked and been a business owner, had decided to stay home with our second daughter and be with both more.

She honestly told me this beats working for a living, I said isnt it hard ? she said hell no, she said I can sit down when I want, I can eat lunch when I want, If I want to make a phone call I make a phone call. If I want to do the laundry later or tomorrow I do it.

Nowhere in the article or any of the links in it is the context of this supposed twelve-year-old quote given or even alluded to. Which "women" were being discussed? In what context was the comment made? McSally has run the dirtiest, lie-ingest campaign anyone here has ever seen, and this is just another part of it.
Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing.” - Robert E. Howard
