LOL. I shouldn't talk, I'm a checker. Have to check the stove at night to make sure it's off sometimes 2-3 times even when I know it is.
Don't they say some of the germiest places are the spots we wouldn't guess? For example a city in general. LOL

The coffee maker? I wouldn't of guessed that. Or the hair dryer?

Yes, the coffee makers don't get cleaned and sometimes aren't used for quite a while in between guests. I recommend running it through a couple cycles with water before actually using it.

The hairdryer is used by guests and maids never clean the handles of hairdryers or the remote control. For me, the motivator for cleaning the remote is that guys are generally the controller of the remote and they generally don't wash their hands after tinkling. You guys are pigs. hahahahahaha

So is there a five second rule for food dropped on your floor? I even apply the rule in hotels and I'm still alive. LOL

It depends on who's floor. Mine - yes. Someone else's - Nope. I'm a little bit of a germ fanatic but I blame that on my career and the information I've been exposed to. It's translated into my everyday life. It's a curse. hahahahaha

Yes, I can remember the days when MRSA was everywhere. LOL. Turns out that was true, most of us working in hospitals had it on our skin. But in most cases it required a compromised immune system or some bad luck to be a problem.
