That's a fair question. I compromised a lot b/c of what I felt was the cliff we were on to losing it all structurally. It was (and is) my belief that the country would not have survived a far left court appointed by Hillary intent on open borders, Heller reversal, global submission, etc. I read non-sensical Court opinions that were result-oriented completely devoid of legal rationale but designed to get to an end -- at times an end I agreed with. The principle of we are nation of laws is so critical to our future. I get that you may disagree with me. I feel a tremendous obligation to leave the boundary lines of what our founders gave us intact. Once you erase the lines, you cannot ever get them back. It is our responsibility to future generations to not be selfish and arrogant enough to think that we know better and to erase what our founders gave us without constitutional amendments.
I don't believe that he's done or is a fraction of what you guys claim he did or is. He stands up to the left and the media and that gets him labelled. The problem, though, is that Bush didn't stand up to them and he got the same or similar labels -- though much calmer. You guys call him a dictator -- what power has he claimed by EO? None. Obama did -- and got smacked by the Supremes — and you guys were silent. Why? Why no Hitler dictator cries then? Any ways, I compromised b/c it was too important. We've restored the Courts to ones based on law. We will survive Trump. The Country as it was given to us will survive another 50 years because of Justices appointed by Trump.
I understand you disagree. I respect and appreciate your right to disagree. Good people of conscience can disagree.

Any time you give a man something he doesn't earn, you cheapen him. Our kids earn what they get, and that includes respect. -- Woody Hayes
That's how government works. You have to decide what's important and go with it. I don't like the wishy-washy who can't seem to make that decision. I didn't have to favor everything to get what I wanted.
There were women who voted for Clinton only because she was a woman. They may have given up whatever else to do that. If that was the most important thing then they did what they should have done.
Obama got a lot of votes to become the first black President. That was a watershed moment for some. So be it.
What I won't do is worry about what Trump says as long as he does what I voted for him to do. I may cringe at some of it but I knew what I was getting and I can't complain now.
