I think it's pretty clear Lummy was part of the crop of racists that suddenly showed up a while back.
Not that I'm defending or prosecuting him, he is what he is and I've expressed my opinion of the guy in other threads.
It's why I don't associate with the guy, I dont want fleas. But I'm not going to outrage over his pattern of bigotry, life is too short

The fundamental reason that Jews tend to lean left is because their persecutors typically came from the unenlightened right (the conservative, Christian, diversity hating right), regardless of economic system. Jews have been championing the rights of persecuted minorities for years, because they know what it feels like to be scapegoated for social ills and be the object of jealousy on the parts of majority populations who hated them for their success and work ethic.

So it really has a little less to do with political ideology then, right? Jews figured prominently in Bolshevism and proved to be some of the party's most enthusiastic murderers. Jews were attracted to Bolshevism precisely because the party condemned anti-Semitism. They also had a hand in its formulation but something happened, Dr. Who. Russian communists came to perceive the Jews as a foreign element, a tribe apart and "rootless cosmopolitans". Same old story.
