Guy Gets Stood Up, Shoots People

Another one for the incel movement (a section of men's rights activists who claim to be celibate against their will and frequently engage in terrorist acts in protest):

...on Friday, the authorities said, he shot two women to death and injured five other people at a Florida yoga studio before killing himself.

    ...

He identified with “involuntary celibates” and told personal stories of rejection, naming multiple girls who he said had wronged him.

“Made one date, didn’t show up,” he said of one woman. “Made another date, didn’t show up. Kept making excuses. Ah, I could’ve ripped her head off.”
I don't relate. We've all been turned down before, felt rejected by the world. I've attempted suicide more than once myself. But you know what, I've never been tempted to go on a shooting rampage over rejection because I have tended to blame myself more than others when that's happened to me.

He sounds like an outlier nut job who needs some psychological/psychiatric help.

Maybe he had a panic attack and accidentally fired his weapon multiple times.

Can Polly tell us what point she is trying to make here?

He should have rearranged his schedule that day putting 'commit suicide' first on his to-do list.

    "incel"

i love the new words/terms the left makes up to bolster their nonsense.

some of my favorites are "white privilege" micro aggression" crypto racism" "libskank" etc.

some can even be found in the "urban dictionary" which is another made up thing.

bless their heats for trying, though..

I doubt any normal, sane person can relate to going on a murderous rampage for any reason. So I don't think the question here is one of who can relate to this murderous psycho, but why do such people exist in the first place? And what can we as a society do to prevent or at least mitigate it? Obviously, this person was driven by deep sexual frustration. Historically, there is reason to believe that sexually frustrated and repressed men are much more prone to violence than men who are not. In China, for example, there are said to be serious concerns about that country's inordinately large male population, many of whom struggle to find sexual partners. It's very easy to dismiss and demonize "incels" as a group, especially when their members seem to be involved disproportionately in acts of psychotic violence, but I don't think that approach will prevent or mitigate such violence. Indeed, it may have the opposite effect.
Power always thinks it has a great soul, and vast views, beyond the comprehension of the weak. And that it is doing God service when it is violating all His laws.

Frequently engage in terrorist acts. ROFL

Anyway, virtually no one relates, Polly. That's why we don't go around shooting up Yoga studios.
