Well it will be interesting to find out more, as a vet possibly with PTSD I see a lot of chatter coming up. I think we will hear a lot about the poor care for returning war fighters, good chance of poor service at the VA, I am sure we will hear about gun control.
Obviously something in this guy snapped, there also might be more to the story, a personal connection to either one of the victims or maybe he was looking for someone else.. Only time will tell no need to speculate..

Apparently Ian Longs' last brush with the police ... the police felt he did not warrant a 5150 Hold ...

Well, I know one thing for sure, whatever comes up, nobody else will be blamed for this tragic event.

Since we know absolutely nothing other than this guy may have been a troubled vet, who should we blame?

If he was a troubled Vet, then I think a hard look will have to be taken at the help he was offered, I also think a look will have to be taken into the transition help he was given. It has been 5 years since he separated it sounds like, around 30 years old and living with Mom still could be a sign that he had issues. Also have to look at what was behind the decision in April that he was OK.
Monday morning quarterbacking is always easier though, did this guy fall through the cracks or did someone drop the ball. Hopefully we can find out.
