This article is funny and it perfectly describes how trump uses the media as tools

Donald Trump is Roadrunner. All he has to do is say, “Meep! Meep!” and the Left drops an anvil on its own head.

After the midterm vote, the president holds a press conference and makes bipartisan noises, so CNN’s Wiley Jim Acosta, fresh from ACME Journalism School, asks what he thinks is an explosive question and ends up with his face charred black and his hair smoking.

The president brings out Republican voters by reminding them of the Left’s hysteria and violence with the catchphrase “Jobs Not Mobs,” so the left-wing fascist group Antifa shows up at Tucker Carlson’s house and terrorizes the man’s family, thus validating the president’s slogan.

And perhaps most hilariously, Trump makes a change at the Justice Department, and the Left protests the departure of Jeff Sessions as AG! You read that right: the left takes to the streets to defend the job of Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III, one of the most stalwart and fearless right-wing voices in the country!

Like Roadrunner, all Trump has to do is draw a manhole on the pavement and the Left falls through it. So help me, if Trump fired himself, the ACME Democrats would nominate him as their 2020 presidential candidate just to show him what’s what!

Trump’s power — like Roadrunner’s — derives from turning his opponent’s hostility against themselves. Because leftist policies don’t work, because they make the nation less free, less equal and less prosperous for everyone, including the underprivileged they claim to serve, leftists really have only one weapon to wield: the culture. For decades they have used that mighty tool to convince us — and themselves — that opposing them on principled grounds is a violation of both manners and morals.

Point out the dysfunction in poor black communities, you’re a racist. Oppose the extermination of the unborn, you are waging war against women. Disagree with the tenets of Islam, and you’re a bigot. Defend the rights secured for us by our founding documents and you’re a fascist. The penalties for defying these cultural diktats: ridicule, exclusion and denunciation.

It’s a form of bullying, that’s all. And Trump — whose manners and morals are, let’s say, peculiar to himself — is impervious to it. Thus, the Left must either give up or amp up their only tactic. They have chosen to amp it up, moving from social penalties to outright slander, harassment and violence. The country can see them now. We know who they are.

It is because of this that I see a major cultural triumph for Trump — and for conservatives — in the midterm results. The real number crunching is yet to come, the full political ramifications are yet to be sorted out, but culturally, where it matters most, Trump scored an unmitigated victory.

For two years, the Left has used their near-monopoly of American sources of information — the news media, entertainment media, social media and the academy — to demonize the nation’s duly elected leader. He’s a fascist (who somehow allowed the people to vote his party out of their House majority!); he’s a sexist (who has scored record employment numbers for women); and, that old standby, he’s a racist (who has virtually eliminated black unemployment). He is Adolf Hitler (though, weirdly, he is celebrated as a hero in Israel). And we’re all living in The Handmaid’s Tale (LOL).
