    Correct. Even with people leaving NY, there's a huge talent pool to choose from. A talent pool you can't get in western or rural NY

    I'm going to retract my earlier statement, I went back and looked at it and the article I had read was talking about NYC rather than New York state. While NYC's population has increased, the general population of the state at large has indeed appeared to decrease. The article had just said "New York" and I didn't realize it was referring to NYC until the second read-through. My apologies.

    That's because NYC thinks they ARE the state and even refer to themselves as "the city"
