My kids did when they were young. By the time they were in first grade they stopped believing in a Bernie Sanders kind of elf who fulfilled everyone's every wish for free.

They don't believe in Santa Claus any longer but liberals still believe in a kindly old man who promises the same and like Santa Claus sticks the grown ups with the bills.
