Anti-gun Ashton Kutcher incriminates self for illegal gun purchase and possession.

    Quite a confession.

This isn’t an either/or it’s a both! Support mental health initiatives & support Gun Reform Now!! My friend gave me a gun as a gift in the parking lot of the borderline on my birthday. I’ve never shot it. I don’t think I ever will. ❤ to the families of the lost. Change is coming. — ashton kutcher ... November 9, 2018
Makes as much sense as everything else liberals do.

There’s no national law that prevents someone from giving firearms to a friend or family member in the same state, but there are plenty of state laws regarding it. For example, states such as California, New York, and Colorado require you to transfer the firearm through a local firearms retailer or FFL, where a background check will be conducted on the person you want to give the gun to. In some states, even the transfer of an old family heirloom can require going through an FFL. https://www.nrablog.com/articles/201...someone-a-gun/

Even in that case it wouldn’t be Ashton Kutcher that broke the law, it would be the person who gave it to him.

True, but I have a hard time thinking of California as part of the United States.

There is a big problem with those laws. The FBI does not want NICS resources to be used to enforce state gun laws. They are trying to force the states to set up their own system of verification if they are going to have such laws.

I agree. The FBI should not be a tool to enforce state law.

Perhaps CA, CO and NY do have their own their own system. I don't know. If they don't, they certainly should pony up to pay part of NICS costs if they're going to use that system. Seems like the feds would tell them to take a hike if that's what they're doing. Interesting.

    Good catch.

Give him credit, at least he recognized that guns aren't the be-all-end-all of violence when he stated his stance on mental health initiatives.

But still... Ashton Kutcher, I'm guessing he doesn't keep himself very occupied.
