Safelite does excellent work, better even than some dealers. Get it fixed as you don't want water hitting the electronics.

Is this something you car guys can tell me how to fix or is it shop time?
    It's shop time.

Thanks all. I wound up getting it back in except for a very small section that won't stay fully in place because it's slightly warped now. .
I used a screen bead roller and it worked well. I then called my mechanic who said that was close enough.

I see someone already posted a YouTube video. That's usually the best place to go for answers like this. I managed to repair a washing machine and change the trans fluid, pan gasket, and trans filter on a car without having any real experience working on either machine. There might even be a video with your exact problem and car model if you're lucky.

You kids. I was pinning airborne wings on one of my Soldiers at Benning, and after she needed her battery jumped. The kids in her class were $#@!ing around with YouTube to figure out how when yours truly, a major at the time, jumped it.

How often do you see a person changing their own tire anymore? When I was young and poor I had it down to a 3 minute science!

Not much any more. They sit on the side of the road, surfing the Net on their cell phone while they wait for roadside assistance.

I have seen people jack their car up, and then try to loosen the wheel lugs.
