Hotels and the 5 second rule

A week or two ago @Trish started a thread that wound up being a discussion about germs in hotel rooms .
So the other day while traveling I spilled some pringles on the floor of my hotel room and immediately scooped all but the most badly broken ones and put them back in the can. And then for some reason I thought of that thread where Trish described her hotel room cleaning procedure and laughed.
No Ebola yet , but it was only a couple of days ago. LOL
