I'm with you on car repairs. I don't posses the tools nor training to work on my late model truck. Too much computers and the like. Now give me a fifties, sixties or seventies car and I'll get right into it.

I get that, doing stuff with new cars is impossible. My 250 is 7 years old, "newer" I guess and I'll work on that but $#@! is easy to get to. Her brand new Nissan Frontier, different story, everything is so packed together. Even changing the oil on that is ridiculous, the filter is in a really stupid spot. Getting a filter remover up in there is impossible, I have to jam a screwdriver into it and twist it off if I can't bare hand it.

I could (and have) learned a language easier than how to take something apart and put it back together. Not my ballpark, but not for lack of trying.

I apparently bought the most complicated piece of IKEA furniture in existence and even the handyman I was going to hire was going to charge $900 (no, I didn't pay him). It's half-built but I haven't figured out how to anchor it or how to put the doors on or how to put some of the pieces in it. It's 3 big boxes right now.

The last printer to cross me got beaten up. It won. Can't $#@!ing print but can apparently be hit repeatedly and not break. That was infuriating. Like, at least let me rip you apart with my bare hands, you mother $#@!er.

But I can do a few basic things with cars. I took auto in high school (it was that or business class). Or, I know really basic things, anyway. I can actually break into cars (built before the 2000s, not sure how useful that is now) and sabotage batteries. Could change a tire if I needed to. I can figure out if the axle is broken. Change a headlight. That stuff isn't too hard, but I don't drive.

Oh, and I can paint a room but only if you want the corners of the ceiling done, also.

I usually just hire someone to fix stuff. I should probably learn more essentials. My mom is a damn pro at everything around the house in Canada, including plumbing and electric. My dad is kind of useless, which is ironic since he's an engineer. Can apparently build cameras for space but not change a lightbulb. I think I take after my dad, haha.

Just don't have the patience.
