Went with Chinese delivery last night. BBQ pork slices, steamed dumplings (ground pork and spices filling) and a spicy beef with mushrooms and snow peas in a brown sauce with rice on the side. Using chop sticks after a good bit of spirits is still frustrating but I will master it one of these decades.

Finished off the last of my canned tomato sauce this week. Roma’s grown and frozen for two years until I got around to canning them. I chose to can only tomato sauce and make spaghetti sauce from that. It made 8 quarts and I used each one to make a pan of baked spaghetti using one pound of pasta, Italian sausage, seasonings, and Motzarella cheese. Each pan provided days of great eating.
When Donald Trump said to protest “peacefully”, he meant violence.

When he told protesters to “go home”, he meant stay for an insurrection.

And when he told Brad Raffensperger to implement “whatever the correct legal remedy is”, he meant fraud.

    War is peace.

    Freedom is slavery.

    Ignorance is strength.

So far Captain's menu is winning the thread IMO. Who makes homemade chorizo. I am impressed.

LOL It's a meat sauce, but it's not just meat and tomatoes. It's pretty classic Italian fare. Plus when the sauce is cold it gets thick and I eat it on bread - not an Italian thing to do, but yummy anyway.

My Hungarian buddy makes good stuffed cabbage. I do well but it's just not the same.

My mom's recipe, she was a hunky.

I did not use rice in the meat filling, she always did. I used oatmeal but nobody noticed.
