Man with no pants falls through Waffle House ceiling

Cellphone video captured a man falling through the ceiling of an Alabama Waffle House restaurant in Tuscumbia, Ala.
TUSCUMBIA, Ala. (AP) - Police in Alabama say a man not wearing any pants fell through the roof of a Waffle House during a botched burglary and fought patrons before fleeing.
After Bost fell through the ceiling, jumped into his car and police chased him.
He then left the car and fled on foot.
After he fell through the ceiling, police say he took off, but not without leaving his license in his pants pocket at the Waffle House.
Investigator Wes Holland said he saw the suspect trying to run away.
"As the car passed me I was able to look and I saw that it was the car," said Holland.
Woodrum said customers were enjoying the moment.
"They were laughing and taking pictures. It's not everyday they go to eat lunch and somebody climbs through the ceiling and falls through," said Woodrum.
Police are getting warrants on him for the damage caused at the Waffle House.

The TimesDaily reports Tuscumbia police Detective Wes Holland says 27-year-old Glenn Bost is being sought on criminal mischief and burglary charges.
Another suspect hasn’t been identified.
Police Chief Tony Logan says the Birmingham man tried to break into the restaurant’s office through the ceiling.
Logan says Bost went into a bathroom, tied the door shut with his pants and climbed into the ceiling.
He says an underwear-clad Bost then fell into the dining area and fought off patrons trying to detain him.
Logan says Bost then fled, leaving behind his pants that contained his driver’s license.
Police say Bost may have been on drugs.
