Richard Ojeda, West Virginia Lawmaker Who Led Teacher Strikes, Will Run for President

Another Democrat will run for President. This one will be talking about the Demo Elites and why they destroyed the Demo party. I doubt he can compete with the Demos big name elites they are running. What say ye?

    Richard Ojeda
is running for president. Ojeda, a West Virginia state senator and retired U.S. Army major, lost his congressional bid in the state’s 3rd District on Tuesday, but saw the largest swing of Trump voters toward Democrats in any district around the country — overperforming 2016 by more than 35 points. Still, in a district Donald Trump carried by 49 points, Ojeda, who rose to prominence leading teacher strikes in West Virginia, lost by 12 points.

Ojeda’s case for his candidacy is straightforward: The Democratic Party has gotten away from its roots, and he has a unique ability to win over a white, black, and brown working-class coalition by arguing from a place of authority that Trump is a populist fraud. He’s launching his campaign with an anti-corruption focus that draws a contrast with Trump’s inability to “drain the swamp.”

“I have been a Democrat ever since I registered to vote, and I’ll stay a Democrat, but that’s because of what the Democratic Party was supposed to be,” he told The Intercept. “The reason why the Democratic Party fell from grace is because they become nothing more than elitist, that was it. Goldman Sachs, that’s who they were. The Democratic Party is supposed to be the party that fights for the working class and that’s exactly what I do. I will stand with unions wholeheartedly and that’s the problem — the Democratic Party wants to say that, but their actions do not mirror that.”.....snip~

2020 should be an interesting cycle. We could see a redux of 1912, that would be fun.

Bloomberg has registered Democrat and says he will be running.

Then Kamal Harris, Sparticus Booker, Eric Holder, Terry McAuliffe, Elizabeth Warren, and now Marc Penn says Hillary will run again.

    Then this guy.

2020 Dems: Beto No. 1, edges Harris, Warren, Biden.....

The odds that losing Texas Senate candidate Beto O’Rourke will run for the Democratic presidential nomination have skyrocketed and now he is the top choice to face President Trump in 2020.

According to the online gambling website BetDSI, O’Rourke is at 5-1 odds, putting him in first place and ahead of Sens. Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren, as well as former Vice President Joe Biden. …..snip~

Ojeda is $#@!ing awesome, he thinks like I do about removing the old Congress critters and starting over. He would have my vote.
“Conscientiously believing that the proper condition of the negro is slavery, or a complete subjection to the white man, and entertaining the belief that the day is not distant when the old Union will be restored with slavery nationally declared to be the proper condition of all of African descent, and in view of the future harmony and progress of all the States of America, I have been induced to issue this address, so that there may be no misunderstanding in the future”

So, is he a "drain the swamp" kind of guy?

I don’t think Holder or McAuliffe will run. I think Hillary desperately wants to, and nobody in the DNC has the fortitude to talk her out of it, but I think ultimately she’ll decide against it.

Yeah it might be a money issue for those 2. Plus if Hillary jumps in McAuliffe will back out immediately.
