In the "Can't Buy Comedy This Good" category, Michael Avenatti, "MOUTHENATTI" for purposes here, has continued his amazing string of judicial wins since declaring Trump's presidency over, and declaring his own intent to seek the DNC presidential nomination for 2020.

Let's see....defamation lawsuit THROWN OUT, and the BJ Queen held LIABLE for Pres.Trump's legal expenses, loses 4,000,000 settlement with his own partner (in addition to the$10,000,000 settlement earlier this year for skimming tax payments from employees), referred to the DOJ for criminal charges stemming from his outlandish "serial gangbang" debacle during the Kavanaugh hearings, and NOW, INDICTED HIMSELF , for DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

He is the PERFECT DNC PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, as proven above, and has now strongly aligned himself with DNC #2, KEITH ELLISON, who also enjoys "slapping women around" …..
I'm curious, is domestic violence a felony or misdemeanor? If it's a felony I wonder if he could be disbarred if convicted?

Once I tell you that we agree to disagree there will be no more discussion between us in the thread so please don't waste your time continuing to argue your points because I will not respond.

Could be either; the story I just saw says he is being charged with the felony variety. He should have been disbarred long before now....based on the tax shenanigans, his complete and utter failure to provide anything remotely close to adequate legal counsel to the BJ Queen, etc.

They charged it as a felony but you know could plea out for lesser charge. The police said he ran out saying she hit me first. Now he went on TV claiming he never hit her. He filed for divorce last year and she claimed she was over there getting some of her stuff. She was yelling the police claim, I can't believe you hit me.

It can be either, Police answer the call, if the contact has stopped the separate the two physically inspect them for bruising etc

If the woman has obviously been struck, bleeding or all swollen and bruised that is a felony.

If they arrive and they are just in a screaming match and some pushing, most likely not. It also depends on state to state laws

Domestic violence laws have been tightened and they are not taken lightly

Sounds Like Stormy Daniels Protector is a woman beater, how ironic.

Anyone who looked at and listened to Avenatti should have been able to see he was a sleezy fraud opportunist.

In Broward county alone I have seen many woman come before bond court that have been arrested for domestic violence charges. So it's not always the men charged. But it looks like they arrested him because she was outside with sunglasses on and they witnessed her eyes puffed and swollen. Just going by what the police are saying, he looked fine talking to the media after he bonded out.

Either that or she hit herself or was hit before she got there. He is still innocent until proven otherwise. But I am sure they have camera's outside the apartment if he said "she hit me first".

Very true, there was a time that women were never arrested for domestic abuse or assault, that is no longer true. If police on the scene see the man bleeding and bruised they will arrest the woman today.

Yep sometimes they arrest both. Whomever they arrest has to find somewhere else to stay unless the victim is there for the bond hearing and claims they don't fear for their life, then the judge may say no harmful contact and allow them to go back home.
