Dogs just dont live long enough, max was 6 weeks old 6weeks ago it seems.

Its heartwrenching, I hate to even hear about someone else losing their dog. Ive lost many over the years also doc, had shepherds that lived only 8 yrs, but being retired no kids in the nest and having these little guys that rely on me to protect them, somehow you get much closer.

I didn't know, so sorry for your loss.

Somehow I think it's like a sound that you don't hear with your ears, but something you sense. It's like a persistent background sound that you are so used to hearing, that you don't notice it until it's gone.

I'm sorry for your loss, Who. I know how it feels.

I completely understand. They depend on you, but in some ways, you depend on them. It's a symbiosis. You give them a home and they give you love, trust and loyalty in return. They know how you are feeling and when you need company.

Thanks, Safety. You'd think we would get used to it, but we never do.
