We need to stop our reps from selling our democracy. We do have reps that are working to make changes by stopping the purchasing of themselves and staying true to the voice of the people. This is a step in the right direction.

Yes the people who have signed to no longer take PAC money, have all taken money in the past. But they have decided that they wont do it anymore. They have realized the harm in selling our democracy. These are people who have made a vow to stop selling our nation. It is possible for us to make changes and end the corruption. When the people demand it and don't settle for any less we will get what we want!

It is when we ask and then don't act when we don't get it. We need to utilize the full power of our democracy and take our nation back. It is time to end corruption. Our democracy is not for sale, and we should no longer allow it to be sold!

I will believe it when I see it. Deeds, not words.

But it is what is needed. I think term limits would help mitigate the effect of Big Money. But that would increase the power of the bureaucratic state- the entrenched civil servants who know the rules and how to manipulate them. It is a big mess and deserving of serious conversation in America.
