    Costs of modern society

Simply put, without the web you are crippling yourself! Smart phones have pretty much taken over so you must get a data plan.
No cell? Well some people have one provided and others have to pay. Still many companies do help with the bill.
No home internet? Well you better have it if you have kids because they need it for school.

Live in the country? Prepare to be screwed over by internet providers.

My home was paying a mortgage payment for these $#@!ty services. Well today I have made an executive decision. dropped $115 from the mobile bill (home phone through Verizon) I have satellite internet to be installed Saturday (currently 1.5 Mbps is my top DSL speed down from 3 two years ago while the city gets free wifi and DSL up to 1 Gbps for the same price I am paying for 1.5).
So after the satnet (Viasat) is installed I will be cancelling the Centurylink for additional savings. About 100 bucks a month in the end. Still going to work on the cell bill.
Still cost increases outside of the food and housing have gone thru the roof. I have reached the point of wanting to go hermit.

Matter of fact, I tried to get the data plan turned off and they said I had to have it with smart phones.

Dropped cable but picked up cable internet at 100 mps. Lucky me, the company pays for it.

My paradigm change will be when I retire when I have to pay for my own computer and internet. Might go off grid, listen to the world instead of the internet, pay in cash, etc.. Gonna die with or without internet anyway.
When Donald Trump said to protest “peacefully”, he meant violence.

When he told protesters to “go home”, he meant stay for an insurrection.

And when he told Brad Raffensperger to implement “whatever the correct legal remedy is”, he meant fraud.

    War is peace.

    Freedom is slavery.

    Ignorance is strength.

No, to be a conspiracy it would nor be as open as it is. This is like the dems in Florida. They are in our faces doing what ever the hell they want and the law does nothing.

Here is the same thing. You will need this stuff and instead of working to make existing things better we are going to do away with them so we can charge more money.
