I like gag gifts. My dad always gets high heels, bras, and the like for the Christmas since he does drag occasionally.
I bought my American roommate a copy of Hillary Clinton's biography as a joke for Christmas last year. Not a Democrat... (and I felt a little dirty knowing I put money towards Clinton, bleh).
I also bought my Canadian brother a "Make America Great Again" t-shirt for Christmas in 2016 to wear to family Christmas dinner, because I thought it was hilarious (and was). Apparently he wears it all the time and gets some funny reactions. The fact he actually likes Trump is bonus.
