Our president has been playing games with other nations he has been strong arming them in order to try and get what he wants from them. He is a bully of the highest order. He threatens tarrifs if they dont give him what he wants. He takes something away from them and says he will give it back if they play ball. It is a form of black mail or extortion.

Now he is going to do it to his own nation. Looks like we are not off limits to his games. His extortion politics. Today he said if congress does not give him the funding to build the wall, he will shut down the government. This just proves how little he thinks of his nation. He would even harm the people of his nation to get his way. When will it be too much. It seems his followers will agree with him on anything no matter what he does. Sex abuse is fine as long as it was Trump, Even genocide and mass murder is fine as long as it is Trump. It is shameful and cult like. Violating the constitution is fine, even with die hard constitutionalists who carry it like a bible. As long as Trump violates it, it's all good.

It does not matter if he doesn't shut our gov down, but what matters here is his tactics, and that he would actually threaten us to do his will, or else he will shut our nation down.

Trump can't really shut down the government. The Congress appropriates money for government operations, not the president. The president can veto bills, but the congress has an override, which gives them the final say. So if congress doesn't want the government to "shut down", then it won't shut down. It's really up to them.

Ignorance on full display. Trump vetoes a spending plan and the government begins to shutdown. It won't happen overnight but it will happen. Congress always gets the blame. sine the House has to vote first, it's the Democrats who will take the hit.
