A Weber, really? Never would of guessed that. I'll Google it today. Undoubtedly our weather is harsh on machines but it I could get 6 years I'd be happy.

Conceptually I get that. However what capitalism meant to my parents ( what they taught me capitalism is) has died, or at least is gravely ill. I mean you can glue a horn on a pony but that don't make it a Unicorn.

Or at least a kissing cousin of free market capitalism. Total free market cannot exist because of greed . PCP's in the river where the worker's children swim, that kind of thing.
Can Capitalism exist in any recognizable form without meaningful price competition?

    Thanks.
I’ve gotten at least ten years. It was a $900.00 grill. It has always been kept on a covered deck.

Total free market cannot exist because of greed .
Quite the reverse. In a totally free market, people would only buy from you if you provided them what they wanted at a lower cost or higher quality than competitors. So if you were a greedy $#@! who cheated people, people would learn and your reputation would end up as broke as you. It requires a good strong government to protect your gred so long as you share some of the greed to fund elections and wars.

PCP's in the river where the worker's children swim, that kind of thing.
Right, but that's not greed. The workers, sans government, should be able to seek claims via arbitration, and with government, well, heck, isn't that the purpose of government to protect lives and property?

My grill is one I bought at Walmart. It was missing some parts and they were going to toss it. I looked it over, figured I could easily fix it. They gave it to me for $10. 15 years ago. Outside, uncovered.
