It's not a cop out. It's, in my opinion, a better alternative to pure capitalism.

Yes, it is what the US and most western nations have. The mixtures vary though.

No, it's a cop-out. Don't worry, I know why you can't be honest on this.

No I'm not. I don't advocate for a socialist system.

I'm not sure why people insist on dealing in absolutes. If you don't favour pure capitalism, it doesn't mean you favour socialism.

I am being honest. If you want to make assumptions, that's cool.

    ...but you're being delusional.

Well the American Constitution helped make Capitalism better and more pure. But now we are past capitalism into crony , corporatism, whatever you wish to call it it is about manipulating markets rather than about price competing within them.
If capitalism was the best system so far, and it probably WAS, that does not mean we cannot make it better. Certainly we can take it back to when it worked, but even better beyond that. I believe that a sort of capped capitalism , maximizing motivation while capping wealth or income somewhere north of $#@!ING obscene could work.

Ok, you are free to try to deceive. I don't care because I know what you're afraid to say on this.

Lol...I get it. You want me to say socialism, but I don't favour socialism.

You clearly see the world in black and white...absolutes. However, reality isn't always black and white.

I'm a business owner. Why would I favour socialism?

If you want to be a dick about it and accuse me of lying, knock yourself out. It makes you look foolish.

We all live in relatively free market economies.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

We all live in relatively democratic free-market systems.

Both create individuals dissociated from community bonds that used to tie.

A mixed market economy just shifts more control to democracy.
