So France has exploded in spontaneous protest against the combination of fuel tax hikes and corporate giveaways that are being imposed by the Macron government (considered by some to be the model of a new alternative to the global ascendancy of the far right), supported by 75% of the country's population. So we have just closed one the busiest border crossings in the world and stationed more than 5,000 on our side thereof over this ridiculous caravan hysteria. So California has just endured the deadliest wildfires in the history of that state and people want to know the cause: Global artificial warming leading to dryer-than-usual conditions? Recent budget cuts to California's state and local fire prevention services in the name of balancing budgets that were only out of balance in the first place because of corporate tax giveaways? Private ownership of the state's energy sector yielding a lack of concern with the public's basic safety and well-being in the area of fire prevention? Democrats shooting lasers from space (source: Info Wars)? More than one of the above (though probably not the last one)? But let's talk about the real issue facing the world today: the GAY AGENDA!
During the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this year, two female performers from the Broadway musical The Prom kissed. Conservatives are outraged at this despicable, demonic display of depravity and the omnipresent agenda of sin and decadence behind it. Linda Harvey of Mission: America (you see the witty Mission: Impossible pun?) and the Christianity-themed anti-abortion outlet Life Site News wrote, among other things...
Rod Dreher, writing for the American Conservative, accused lesbians of "appropriating a national holiday celebration" that apparently does not belong equally to us too as fellow Americans.This agenda is like an airborne infection that’s suddenly everywhere. ...

Things are about to get much worse. The parade decadence is just the latest example, as Satan transforms himself into an angel of light, even with smiling affirmation of celebrities and all the brilliance of Broadway.
ForAmerica, a conservative group that seeks to "reinvigorate the public with the principles of American exceptionalism: freedom, prosperity and virtue", complained that "millions of small children...had their innocence broken this morning."
Fox News Radio host Todd Starnes accused Macy's of "sexualizing" the parade by including this "girl-on-girl smooch", as though the two were portrayed naked in a lying position, before advising parents to "pre-tape next year’s parade — to avoid having to answer uncomfortable questions over the giblet gravy." Uncomfortable questions? Really? "Why did two women kiss?" "Because they love each other." Wow, that was a tough conversation!
My thoughts: Heterosexuality must be a very fragile condition if the public display of a single lesbian kiss threatens to destroy the entire persuasion. I can only wish that loving lesbian relationships were half as commonly portrayed as conservatives somehow think they are, as I might, heaven forbid, feel more accepted. Now if only these same people were just as outraged by say gun massacres or sexual violence as they are by the threat to American children posed by any display of female autonomy.
Think: Have you ever seen anyone accuse heterosexual people of having "an agenda" by being in love? Of course not. If a woman had kissed a man here, there would be zero controversy and we all know it. But what we see here, with this ludicrous reaction to a lesbian kiss, is that heterosexuality is more often wielded as a politicized agenda in reality. That is the sole explanation for why no alternative can even be allowed. One has to wonder why. Why this level of terror if heterosexuality is, in fact, the natural, default human condition? In any event, I don't feel that it is actually morally superior to attempt to impose a socially preferred orientation and identity upon others.
