I don't mind big portions at restaurants. I'm not interested in paying an arm and a leg for a tiny portion. It's on the consumers to either not eat out as much or watch what they eat the rest of the day if they do eat out
Yeah, I asked my dad about that one time. He said that started to happen in the 1970s and got worse as the years went by.
Some started big portions to draw customers and others followed to keep customers and it went on from there. Buffets are HUGE in fla chinese buffets etc
