We need to end citizens united. We can no longer allow votes to be purchased or muted.

We need voter reform, and to make sure all elections are fair. We need to end the electoral college. Because every single voice should be counted. If we are good enough to take a bullet for our nation, and to pay taxes, then we have the right for our vote to be counted.
Citizens United was a free speech issue, something the left is against.

Getting rid of the Electoral College is a bad idea. The EC protects minority states. The real reason the left wants to get rid of the EC because they know that it will consolidate power to the major cities that have the most welfare.
When Donald Trump said to protest “peacefully”, he meant violence.

When he told protesters to “go home”, he meant stay for an insurrection.

And when he told Brad Raffensperger to implement “whatever the correct legal remedy is”, he meant fraud.

    War is peace.

    Freedom is slavery.

    Ignorance is strength.

If the Demos were serious about getting money out of elections. Then they wouldn't have a problem with if people want to donate money then they have to live in the state they are voting in. No outside money.

Of course, the Demos don't want that....as then their Hollyweird Stars couldn't flood states with money for the Demos.

The heart and soul of any forum, however, is disagreement and discussion that follows from that.

And they do all this in pursuit of money and power. Only a complete fool would believe the US political class are motivated by love for America.

But it's not entirely their fault. The idiots who keep voting these scumbags into power share a large amount of the blame. It is the cowardice, greed, and stupidity of the average voter that empowers these scumbags.

A little on the hyperbolic side, but for the most part concur with the premise of the OP.

Citizens United ended the unchallenged power held by labor unions. That's why the left is against it.

Without the EC, the entire country would be ruled (not governed) by uber liberal metro elites. Eliminating it would lead to complete disaster.

Not any more. Some of them have learned to lie in body language!
