Actually, when you look at it I'm indirectly supporting bringing "Christ" back into Christmas.

By pointing out that society is enabling the $#@!ization of what is the most important holiday in Christianity.

Christmas only became a major feast day recently. Only within the last 200 years. The Christmas we know has always been very bourgeois.

It is grossly commercial these days. It's alienating in a way. I'm still sentimental about Christmas because I loved it so much as a child. My parents also kept the religious element in the forefront but I honestly haven't enjoyed the holidays in a very long time.
