Al Sharpton sells his life story rights for $531,000 — to his own charity

He sells his life story to his own charity, "CHARITY" think about that lol

The Rev. Al Sharpton has found an eager buyer for the rights to his life story — his own charity.

The National Action Network agreed to pay the activist preacher $531,000 for his “life story rights for a 10-year period,” according to the non-profit’s latest tax filing, which was obtained by The Post.

NAN can apparently turn around and sell those rights to Hollywood or other takers at a profit, but neither the reverend nor the charity would identify what producers are waiting for such Sharpton content.

The document does not indicate when Sharpton, who is president of NAN, gets the cash, which is above and beyond the $244,661 he already pulled down in compensation from the group in 2017.

What are royalties expected to return? That could be a gift actually.

    Good for him.

I imagine the IRS will look at the details to see if any of the rules governing the type of non-profit that this organization is were violated or not.

A gift? THIS charleton selling to his own charity ? I don't think so but I'm sure his tax attorney will see it your way. Are you old enough to remember how Al helped vault himself to fame by using a poor mentally ill girl and probably keeping her away from treatment for days?

Yes I'm old enough, don't spot your pants already

I never said Sharpton was any better than dog $#@!, he's a total racist scumbag but that does not negate the suggestion that royalties on his story might be worth a lot more than what the charity paid for it.

Or not, I dont know. It totally could be a sleezebag move.

Al sharpton was plotting his rise before Tawana Brawley which was a totally made up lie by him to gain the spotlight.

Sharpton used to go on the Morton Downey Jr show regularly and Mort would insult him and called him fat albert. Sharpton took it to get national attention.

The feds had him on video in a cowboy hat talking about a drug deal that he turned down.

Al made his career on lies, 10.00 mail order reverend kit and the race card.

One of the best highlights of Al Sharpton was when this happened

The white guy is Morton Downey Jr, the black guy that knocks Sharpton out of his chair is another civil rights leader Roy Ennis, toward the end of the video
