The problem here is the kids probably arrived before the dogs. That and the father is 63 years old. Those kids are probably gonna be 'special' no matter what.

That's probably one of the most ignorant, clueless thoughts (broadly defined) I've ever heard in my life. It is practically inevitable, and my invariable observation, that the very people who feel the least empathy and care the least about the welfare and happiness of animals maintain and display a similar disregard for their fellow humans. I have no idea what the rationale or thinking (again, very broadly defined) of these two individuals was in this case, but it certainly says nothing about most animal lovers.

I can tell you from experience that there are people that value animals over people. These are people that have been damaged by other people, usually by family members and usually at a very young and critical age.
When Donald Trump said to protest “peacefully”, he meant violence.

When he told protesters to “go home”, he meant stay for an insurrection.

And when he told Brad Raffensperger to implement “whatever the correct legal remedy is”, he meant fraud.

    War is peace.

    Freedom is slavery.

    Ignorance is strength.

Your writer was wrong. In fact animals can be a big part of how children learn to love and even handle death. Now loving them so much yo let them ride in the car with the kids in the trunk is just plain hillbilly dumb combined with a complete and total lack of judgement.
You can bet CPS will be on these folks like dog hair on their back seat!

LOL. I live in a better State. I have neither dogs, young children, nor a young, common-law wife.
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

I pledge allegiance to the Constitution as written and understood by this nation's founders, and to the Republic it created, an indivisible union of sovereign States, with liberty and justice for all.
