Tulare PD confirms one of their officers shot

One of their officers shot once in the arm and once in the upper torso. The officer’s K9 was deployed and killed by suspect gunfire. It was a traffic stop. Police Officer hurt after a regular traffic stop led to a chase and gunfire. Another person in the shootout was killed, and one other severely injured; a third person is in custody.

It's not a simple traffic stop when you find out the one you stopped had warrants. That is what happened in this case
