    If he's been sentenced by a fed court, there is no time off for good behavior. One does the full time. If he's been sentenced by a state court, he'll be out in 8 months time.
    I liked that poster's diatribe about how he's going to testify about the Ukraine deal.......just another BS shot in the dark.

    "In the federal system, prisoners who, in the judgment of the Bureau of Prisons, have exhibited “exemplary compliance with institutional disciplinary regulations” can get up to 54 days per year off their sentences. Prisoners are eligible if they are serving a prison term of more than one year; those serving life sentences are ineligible."

    I have no personal experience. What I read said a typical federal prisoner will see a reduction for time served plus two months off per year. I do not believe Cohen will serve three years for tax evasion.
