The company became part of the Freedom Group, owned by Cerberus Capital Management, in April 2006.[2] In December 2010, Freedom Group announced that operations at the Windham, Maine, facility would cease as of March 2011.[3]Windham Weaponry was founded by the former Bushmaster owners in 2011 in Windham, ME in order "to put Maine people back to work who lost their jobs" when Bushmaster moved out of state in March 2011.[4]

Dude, they are the same manufacturer. Just accept the fact that you were wrong. No one is going to think less of you if you say “Oh cool, I didn’t know that”.

They are not the same manufacturer. They are two separate entities owned by different people.

the guy who founded Bushmaster is the guy who founded and currently owns Windham. However, he SOLD Bushmaster in 2006 to Cerberus Group. He kept the actual manufacturing facility when Bushmaster moved from Maine to North Carolina. He then got together with a bunch of FORMER Bushmaster employees who had been terminated when Bushmaster moved and formed a new company... Windham.

I explained this all to you in my first or second post in this thread and you yourself posted a quote that says the same thing. Bushmaster and Windham are two completely different and separate entities. They are not the same manufacturer. They do not use the same manufacturing facility. They not even located in the same state.

As odd as it is, there are people out there who are so prideful that they can’t admit there are things they don’t know.

Maybe someday you will grow out of that.

Read your own quote about the two companies again.

You know, you two should just do it and shack up together. Then you can bicker your remaining lives together in bliss and give the rest of us a break.

    You know you want it.
