Well, how charitable of you. Your sympathy for this poor unfortunate child is telling; I wonder what your position would be if that was one of your relatives instead who entered a country under the same circumstances where the government took responsibility for the child once she was in there custody.

I can only hope that if the investigation finds negligence on the part of the government, they throw the book at those responsible.

I doubt that the government personnel were negligent.

Entered under the same circumstances? Such as 90 miles from the nearest border patrol. In a remote region where drinking water might not be a commodity.

I can only hope that if the investigation finds negligence on the part of the government, they throw the book at those responsible.
So....there is negligence on the part of the government.....Gamewell already knows this.....and you hope they 'throw the book' at them, any 'investigation' not meant for fact finding but for prosecuting a government Gamewell already is convinced deserves blames here. Classic Kavanaugh crassness.

Why would her father sign off on her good health, Gamewell?

    Oops.

That's awful. That poor kid. She didn't sign up for any of that. The fault is on the parents 100 percent, but I really do hope we weren't negligent and tried to save that poor kid's life.

Are you saying you would withhold water from your own child? That is what happened here. She died in the Providence Children's Hospital in El Paso just a couple of hours after being picked up, a 4 hour drive so she was flown there by helicopter.

    Who was negligent?

A clear case of parental neglect.

If we had Canada’s health system she might have had to go by car.

When Donald Trump said to protest “peacefully”, he meant violence.

When he told protesters to “go home”, he meant stay for an insurrection.

And when he told Brad Raffensperger to implement “whatever the correct legal remedy is”, he meant fraud.

    War is peace.

    Freedom is slavery.

    Ignorance is strength.

    Who was negligent?

A clear case of parental neglect.

Once the child is in the custody of the government, they are fully responsible for the health and welfare of the child. Until the investigation is complete, we cannot assign blame for her death. And as I mentioned in an earlier post, if the investigation finds negligence by the government then I hope they throw the book at those responsible.
