Flynn wasn't accused of treason.

The judge had never presided over a treason case.

Naturally, that means he should ask out of clear air if it was about treason.

The Judge got Flynn's foreign agent timeline wrong. The Judge did ask if Flynn committed treaaon and the prosecutor said no, I'm a bettin that confused the Judge. If I remember the timeline correctly it was shortly thereafter he called a recess and upon resumption Sullivan apologized for the implication.

Treason wasn't mentioned. The judge had no reason to mention it.

The judge screwed up. He also established, in my mind, the method the government used to coerce Flynn's guilty plea. Mueller is unamerican.
