After going 3-13, 1-15 and 0-16 the Browns are at 6-7-1. I just wanted to say that.

If you analyze the season’s atrocious calls, the Browns should have 2-3 more victories. For example, in the Raiders game, the zebras stopped a TD after a fumble for which the league apologized and then they reversed a first down with a “spliced together” clip that they’ve never replayed. Anyways it has been fun.

Poor or blatant one sided officiating has ruined many if not most games this season. This is the worst officiating I have ever seen.
The NFL needs to do two things. First, go to full time officials. Second, purge the senior citizens from their ranks. Many of them are too old and slow. They can't keep up with the athleticism of the players.
They need to spend the off season analyzing and critiquing the performance of these officiating crews, pointing out their obvious mistakes then train them on correcting those mistakes. If they can't correct these mistakes, get rid of them.
Plus, there should not be a home field advantage when it comes to enforcing the rules.
Officiating now is extremely inconsistent. In any game you will see the officials holding one team to a particular standard, but not the other. What is offensive or defensive holding for one team is not the same as it is for the other. I watched a game today where one team's defense was given three 15 fifteen yard Penalties on one series for something the other team's offense was getting away with. If it's a penalty for one team, it should be a penalty for the other. If anything, this has a bigger impact on people turning away from the NFL than players kneeling for the anthem.
I believe instant replay has ruined the officiating. They now have a safety net for many missed calls, so they are focused on calling penalties which are not subject to review. Then they fall into this thing where they concentrate on one or two particular players and basically ignore others.
The great coach Bill Cowher once said that you can't worry about things that you don't have control over like officiating and the weather, you just have to bring your best game.
