Thanks DG. I understand this. The problem I have with it is that it seems to sanction the idea that some have "more" free speech and "influence" based on the size of their wallet. I don't doubt the argument made by SCOTUS and the precedents that lead to the decision but that doesn't mean something about it just doesn't smell right.

That's where the publicly funded elections come in . Give say 5 parties 25,000,000 a piece for the presidential campaign for example . No outside money. Then "the two parties" and career politicians could not media blitz their way into office and the voters would have to form their own opinions . It would greatly limit megacorp ownership of government

The problem is who it goes to, the corrupt politicians and bureaucrats who sell us out. While I criticize coporations for using political means over economic means to get what they want, the heart of the problem is a government with too much power.

The courts gave themselves a power not mentioned in the Constitution. Now we have judicial tyranny. Is it possible to fix this?

No but you could sue it's owners and actors. They'd be more vigilant if their personal assets were on the line. And better yet, corporations would probably be smaller.

Then there would be no such thing as a corporation and very little employment that paid much.

If I give you money to start a business how can i be responsible for what you do?
