I've seen people whose posts I've enjoyed drop off boards unannounced with no explanation, and it's sort of like a friend died. Well, a few actually did die, but more often just left and didn't say goodbye.
One thing I hate about discussion boards, you come to like someone or know someone perhaps more than you should due to personal slips and so forth that are endearing, and then one day they disappear. No explanation. What happened? Where'd they go? Maybe I'm too sensitive or too naturally inquisitive, but it always bothers me when it happens
I have advocated elsewhere that posters leaving a board should announce their departure, and here I see it done. Good on you, AZ Jim. Thanks.
This really should be discussion board voluntary protocol built into the program.
