A rare tornado touched down in Washington state near Port Orchard in Kitsap County. Several homes were destroyed, and no injuries reported.

Increasing Tornado Outbreaks: Is Climate Change Responsible?

While a a tornado here is extremely rare, I do remember one touching down near Seattle when I was a Little kid.

It is posted in the latest happenings. It happened yesterday. It is big news it is really rare to get a tornado in these areas. I am just sharing, a headline. I didn't blame this on climate change.

Politics is the next level up. It could have been posted on the serious side under the environment.

I have lived in places where tornadoes are not unusual. There's an odd feeling when one is experiencing a tornado forming.

Was with family April 11, 1965, at my uncle's, us kids playing baseball out in the street, when one hit: http://galleries.apps.chicagotribune...otos-20121204/. We were half a mile away, perhaps, it felt strange, got windy for bit, then the sirens, and my uncle, a fireman, rushing out yelling a tornado hits get in the house.

I had one form high over my apartment. It landed several miles away luckily (for us, not them).
